More Than A Passing Fad: Like most people, when I first heard about postmodernism, I thought it was absolutely the most ridiculous and ludicrous worldview I had ever encountered. Likewise, I was hoping that maybe it was just a passing fad. Initially it sounded like just another meaningless mind game hatched by some egg-heads hidden away in an ivory tower. However, I quickly learned that it is a reaction to the most profound spiritual and philisophical crises of our time and very indicative of the spiritual status of contemporary North America.
